Private jet charter to Malaysia

Malaysia is a nation of two regions separated by the South China Sea: Peninsular Malaysia bordering Thailand and Singapore, and Malaysian Borneo bordering Brunei and Indonesia. From cosmopolitan Kuala Lumpur to tea plantations; gorgeous beaches to wildlife-rich tropical rainforests, this is a country that’s packed to the brim with attractions. At Air Charter Service, we can whisk you straight to the heart of Malaysia’s cities, jungle and beaches, so you spend less time waiting around in airports and more time out exploring. Malaysia’s capital is Kuala Lumpur; an urban metropolis of iconic skyscrapers – like the Petronas Towers, which are an impressive feat of engineering – and slick shopping malls that sit alongside Moorish buildings and traditional street markets. Most visitors use ‘KL’ as a springboard to travel on to Malaysia’s natural wonders. Around three hours away by road, the Cameron Highlands is the country’s largest hill station, where valleys are a verdant blend of plantations and tea estates.

Connected to the mainland by road, the popular island of Penang is rich in sightseeing opportunities and activities. Penang’s capital, George Town, is an eclectic mix of colonial buildings, ornate temples and narrow laneways lined with colourful markets; while its main beach, Batu Ferringhi, is known for its soft white sands, thrilling watersports and a host of hotels and seafood restaurants. The private island of Pangkor Laut is a secluded and luxurious alternative to Penang, with a sprawling Spa Village and overwater villas surrounded by rainforest and peaceful bays. In the very north of Malaysia, close to Thailand, the beautiful archipelago of Langkawi is made up of 99 islands that are home to some of the country’s most glorious scenery, with sleepy fishing villages, white-sand beaches, jungle-cloaked valleys and coral-rich waters. It also offers duty-free shopping.

Across the South China Sea, Malaysian Borneo is a dream for wildlife lovers, with jungles home to playful orangutans, proboscis monkeys and sun bears; and a colourful underwater world rich in marine life, where you can snorkel with hawksbill and green sea turtles. There are some fantastic high-end beach resorts along the rainforest-backed stretches of golden sand in Sabah, on the island’s north coast.

Malay cuisine is mostly fusion food, bursting with Indian, Chinese, Indonesian and Thai flavours. Some of the best dishes can be found at street stalls and diners called ‘kedai kopis’, which serve up fresh noodle and rice dishes around the clock. Chilli and coconut milk are staple ingredients and feature in the national dish, nasi lemak. Laksa (noodle soup) and satay (grilled meat with peanut sauce) are also popular, as well as beef redang – a slow-cooked curry from Indonesia served with ketupat (a dumpling made from boiled rice and woven in palm leaf).

Malaysia’s main airport is Kuala Lumpur International Airport, but for the beaches we recommend flying into Langkawi International Airport or Kota Kinabalu International Airport. Simply contact our team and we’ll arrange everything you need to charter a private jet to Malaysia.
